Essential Qualification
Professor
- A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
- A Postgraduate qualification.
- Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience.
Additional Professor
- A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
- A Postgraduate qualification
- Ten years teaching and/or research experience
Associate Professor
- A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
- A Postgraduate qualification
- Six years teaching and/or research experience.
Assistant Professor
- A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
- A Postgraduate qualification
- Three years teaching and/or research experience.
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the personal interview.
Age
Professor: Not exceeding 58 years
Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years
Associate Professor: Not exceeding 50 years
Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years
Cut Off Date: 30.04.2019
Upper Age limit is relaxable by:
3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer).
5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Fee
Unreserved/OBC candidates: Rs 3000
SC/ST candidates: Rs 2500
The fee has to be paid online through NEFT/RTGS/Cash deposit/fund transfer.

Pay Scale
Professor: Level 14A (168900 – 220400) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.1,68,900/- per month.
Additional Professor: Level 13A2 (148200 – 211400) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.1,48,200/-per month.
Associate Professor: Level 13A1 (138300 – 209200) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.1,38,300/- per month.
Assistant Professor: Level 12 (101500 – 167400) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.1,01,500/- per month.
