Stop TB Partnership Board

Stop TB Partnership Board is an international body that seeks to eliminated tuberculosis as a public health issue. It was conceptualized after the 1st Session of Ad Hoc Committee on the TB Epidemic held in London in 1998 and was established in 2000. Through the Amsterdam Declaration, it gave a call for collaboration from 20 countries with the highest TB burden. It’s Secretariat is at Geneva, Switzerland. India’s Union Health Minister was recently appointed as the chairman of the Board.
