Ku Klux Klan Act

Ku Klux Klan Act is a US federal law enacted to combat violence by Ku Klux Klan, a white supremacist group that mainly targeted African Americans. It focuses on specific threats, like the threat against the right to vote and prevention of federal officers from doing their jobs. The aim was to protect black community and members of Congress from the KKK. Former US President Trump was sued under this 19th century law for supporting the recent Capital attack.
