The World Bank (WB) has recently sanctioned Rs.1,376 crore for the complete upgradation and improvement of the power system network in Tripura. Under the project, the large number of 132KV and 33KV substations will be constructed and upgraded into 5 phases. The SPML Infra Ltd has got contract of the first phase and Rs 461 crore would be spent in it.
