The 10th edition of Civil Services Day 2016 has been celebrated at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on April 21, 2016. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released a book titled “Transforming India” and gave away awards for good governance. For the priority programme Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJSY), Chandigarh was awarded in Union Territories (Uts), Nagaon, Assam in North East and Hill States category, and North 24 Parganas, West Bengal in Other States group.
