Exercise Jalrahat
The Assam Government and Armed Forces has launched “Exercise Jalrahat” for flood relief in Assam at the Narangi cantonment of the Army. It’s a mega flood-relief training exercise under the aegis of Gajraj Corps with full support from HQ Eastern Command. It is first-of-its kind initative in India to spread awareness amongst various stakeholders about each other’s role, tasks and capabilities at the time of flood.
