The powerful typhoon Megi has recently hit island-nation Taiwan with winds up to 230 km/hr that causing heavy rains and triggering damaging winds. It is equivalent to Category 4 tropical cyclone. As per the reports, more than 2,700,000 homes were left without electricity after some 38 inches of rain fell in Yilan County.
