The Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation has recently constituted a committee to prepare a draft plan on Ganga river. The committee headed by Justice (Retd)Girdhar Malviya will have the responsibility of preparing the draft act that should have provisions to ensure cleanliness and uninterrupted e-flow of Ganga. It will submit its report within 3 months.
