India has been ranked 3rd on the business optimism index for April-June quarter of 2016, as per the latest Grant Thornton’s latest International Business Report (IBR). After remaining on top globally for the two preceding quarters, India’s rank has dropped due to delays in key reforms such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), non-resolution of tax disputes, banking issues due to NPAs and the banking sector’s performance .
