According to the 3rd edition of the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) 2015, India ranked as 6th most affected national by terrorism in India. In India, the two deadliest Islamic terrorist groups in 2014 were Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen. The other five countries that were most affected by terrorism in 2014 are Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Pakistan and Syria.
