The Swasthya Raksha Programme has been launched by the Ministry of AYUSH to promote health and health education in villages. The purpose of the programme is to organize Swasthya Rakshan OPDs, Swasthya Parikshan Camps and Health/Hygiene awareness programme and to create awareness about cleanliness of domestic surroundings and environment. The programme will also provide medical aid/incidental support in the adopted Colonies/villages.
