Recently, South African government has appointed Indian-origin politician Pravin Gordhan as the South Africa’s new Finance Minister. He succeeded Mr. David van Rooyen. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Godhran was the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. He also held the role of South Africa’s finance minister from between 2009 and 2014.
