O P Jaisha, an Indian track and field athlete from Kerala, is recently in news because of her allege allegation against Indian officials, who did not arrange for water and energy drinks during her race in the 2016 Rio Olympics run under scorching heat. To investigate on this matter, The Union Sports Ministry has constituted 2-member committee consisting of Onkar Kedia, Joint Secretary (Sports) and Vivek Narayan, Director (Sports) to inquire into the allegations of Marathon runner O.P.Jaisha. The committee will submit its report in 7 days.
