The country’s first Metrino project is coming up in New Delhi. The project, on the pattern of a ropeway, will cover a 70-km stretch from the Dhaula Kuan intersection in Delhi to Manesar, near Gurgaon, in Haryana. Under the project, fully automatic and driverless vehicles known as pods will travel suspended from an overhead cable network. Work on the project will start in six months. [Live Mint]
