Notes: Samaldas Arts College, established in 1885 by Maharaja Takhtsinhji of Bhavnagar in memory of Diwan Samaldas Mehta, is one of western India's oldest colleges. Initially affiliated to University of Bombay, it is now affiliated to Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University.
