He has many credits such as (1) one of the signatory to the 1906 Petition to the Viceroy (thus, one of the founders of AIML) (2) Contributed to development of Muslim Personal Law in India (3) Established the London Muslim League in 1908, which was independent of the All-India Muslim League. (4) Became the first Indian to sit as a member of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in 1909 (4) Co-established the London Mosque Fund in 1910 along with other prominent British Muslims, to finance the building of the first mosque in London called East London Mosque (5) Published a book titled "The Spirit of Islam".
