The Ryotwari settlement was first introduced by the British in which Presidency?
The Ryotwari system of land revenue was introduced in the Madras Presidency by Governor Sir Thomas Munro during 1820- 1827. After that, it was adopted in Bombay and Assam. The excerpts of the Ryotwari system are-
