The Bering Strait separates the ____________?
Q. The Bering Strait separates the ____________?
Answer: North America and Asia
Notes: Bering Strait separates the continents of Asia and North America, and the countries of Russia and the United States. It also connects the Arctic Ocean and the Bering Sea. The strait is located slightly south of the Arctic Circle, at around 65° 40' N latitude.  The Bering Strait is named after Vitus Bering, a Danish captain who sailed into the strait in 1728. It's a narrow strip of sea water that separates North America and Siberia. It's 82 km wide, with an average depth of 30–50 m and a maximum depth of 90 m (300 ft).  During the Ice Age, the sea level fell by several hundred feet, turning the strait into a land bridge between Asia and North America. This allowed for a significant migration of plants, animals, and humans.
