Notes: Manna Dey sang various types of song from classical to folk song, Rabindra Sangeet to modern Bengali song and was proficient in all fields. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 1971, the Padma Bhushan in 2005 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2007. He died on 24th October, 2013.
