Notes: Asutosh Mukherjee became a Doctor of Law in 1894, appointed as Tagore Law Professor in 1898 and became a judge of the Calcutta High Court in 1904 and retired in 1923 officiating for a few months as Chief Justice of Bengal in 1920. Mukherjee was knighted in 1911 for his contributions in education. He died on 25th May, 1924.
