CEL functions primarily in four prime business areas:

Solar Photovoltaic (SPV),
Railway Signalling System,
Strategic Electronics,
Security and Surveillance Group (SSG)

Educational Qualification

Deputy Engineer (Electronics & Communication)

E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
Candidate must have qualified GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

Deputy Engineer (Electrical & Electronics)

E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics/Electrical with minimum 55% marks.
Candidate must have qualified GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

Deputy Engineer (Mechanical)

E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
Candidate must have qualified GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

Deputy Engineer (Civil)

E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
Candidate must have qualified GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

Age Limit

Upper Age Limit: 30 years as on 01.12.2018
Upper age is relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD, 13 years for PWD-OBC and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates.

Experience

For all of the above posts, the candidates must possess minimum 2 years post qualification experience.

Other Information

Pay Scale

CTC will be 7.30 lakhs per annum

Tenure & Extension

The candidates should note that the post would be initially allotted for a period of 2 years. Based on the performance it shall be extended for one more year.
In case of exceptional performance, the incumbents will be absorbed into the regular workforce after completion of the contract.
