How to Apply

Eligible candidates must ensure that they possess the necessary qualifications and fulfil all the required criteria before applying for the posts.

Copies of the certificate that needs to be submitted through e-mail:

  • Educational qualifications supported by appropriate certificates and mark sheets (B.Sc. and M.Sc.)
  • Qualifying Examination valid score certificate (UGC-CSIR-NET; JEST; ICMR-JRF, ICARJRF, DBT-JRB).

Essential Qualification

Minimum of 60% aggregate in B.Sc. and 55% aggregate in M.Sc. from a recognized University.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the following:

  • Scores obtained in a qualifying examination:
    • With valid UGC-CSIR-NET Fellowship (SLET/ Lecturership is not eligible)
    • With valid JEST score of 90 percentile and above
    • With valid ICMR-JRF Test, ICAR-JRF Test.
    • With valid DBT-JRB Biotechnology Eligibility Test
  • Interview for shortlisted candidates.

Age

Maximum: 28 years

Cut Off Date: 01.01.2019

Upper Age limit is relaxable by:

3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).

5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Persons with Disabilities Candidates:

  • By 10 years for General
  • By 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
  • By 15 years for SC/ST

General/OBC candidates: Rs 500
