Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally 2018-19: 749 Technical & Tradesman Vacancies

Assam Rifles has invited applications from males and females for recruiting Group B and C posts against 749 vacancies. For detailed notification, interested candidates are advised to visit the official website of Assam Rifles.

How to Apply

  • Candidates have to apply ONLY through ONLINE mode. The candidates are requested to visit Assam Rifle’s official website and click “ONLINE APPLICATION” option on the website.
  • Candidates are requested to take print out of the computer generated registration form for their own record.
  • The website will have detailed instructions for filling up the online application.
  • Candidates are requested to fill up their personal details carefully.
  • All further communications will be sent through e-mail id and SMS. Hence, candidates are requested to provide valid mobile number and e-mail id in the application form.

Application Fee

  • Group B Posts: 200
  • Group C posts: 100
  • Female/ Schedule Casts/ Scheduled Tribes/ Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the fee.

Age Limit

  • Cut off Date to ascertain age: 01 Jan 2019

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • OBC – 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (UR) – 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (OBC) – 6 years (3 years + 3 years)
  • Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) – 8 years (3 years + 5 years)

Selection Process

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

All candidates should have to appear in the physical efficiency test (PET).

  • Male Candidates – 05 km within 24 minutes.
  • Female Candidates – 800 meters within 4.00 minutes.

Written Test

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Minimum pass marks for General Category / Ex-servicemen: 35%
  • Minimum pass marks for SC / ST / OBC candidates: 33%

Trade Test (Skill Test)

  • Trades test will be conducted for technical & tradesmen personnel.
  • No marks will be awarded.

Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME)

It will be conducted as per guidelines issued by ADG (Medical) CAPF, NSG & AR dated 20 May 2015.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Height

  • Height (Male): 170 cms
  • Height (Female): 157 cms

Chest (Male)

  • Unexpanded: 80 cms
  • Expanded: Minimum expansion 5 cms

Relaxations in height and weight are applicable to scheduled tribes and candidates hailing from north-eastern states.
