Who was first Indian woman to receive a medical doctorate degree?

The first woman to receive a medical doctorate degree was Anandibai Joshee in 1885. She qualified as a doctor is USA. She was also among first two Indian women who were trained in western medicine. The other was Kadambini Ganguly, a Graduate of Bengal Medical College. Anandibai Joshee was also the first woman to travel to the United States of America from India. As a tribute to Anandibai Joshee, A crater on Venus was named as Joshee in 2016.
