Garba Festival

Garba is a traditional dance festival that is celebrated in the Indian state of Gujarat, Daman and Diu as well as by Gujaratis around the world. The festival typically takes place during the nine-day Hindu festival of Navaratri, which honors the goddess Durga. During the festival, people gather in large groups to dance the Garba, a traditional dance that is performed in a circular formation. The dance is often accompanied by live music and the beating of dhol drums. In addition to the dancing, the festival also features a range of other activities, such as singing, food, and other celebrations.
