Under 17 FIFA Women World Cup to begin in 2021
On May 12, 2020, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) have rescheduled FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup. The game was initially to be conducted on November 2, 2020. Now the postponed game is to be conducted between February 17, 2021 and March 7, 2021.

India is to host the game in 2021. The dates were confirmed by the governing bodies after considering the fact that enough time is needed to conduct qualification tournaments. The qualification tournaments include UEFA, CAF, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL and OFC. The U-17 tournaments were initially scheduled to be held in 5 cities such as Navi Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar and Ahmedabad.
FIFA Women World Cup
The FIFA Women’s World Cup has been taking place since 1991. It has been scheduled once in four years. So far, six countries have hosted women’s world cup. Both China and US have hosted the tournament twice. The other countries that have hosted the tournament includes Germany, France, Sweden and Canada.
