MONETARY POLICY REVIEW

  • The RBI on October 4, 2019 cut repo rate to 5.15% from the current 5.4%

  • Marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the bank rate stand reduced to 5.4%
  • GDP growth forecast for current financial year 2019-20 lowered to 6.1% from 6.9% earlier.
