Sameer Anjaan creates world record by composing 3524 songs
Bollywood lyricist Sameer Anjaan has created world record by composing around 3524 different songs in 650 Bollywood movies.
Guinness Book of World Records has officially recognised him as the Most prolific Bollywood Lyricist Ever. With this he becomes first Guinness Record holder in this category
About Sameer Anjaan
- Sameer Anjaan (Real name Shitala Pandey) had started his career as lyricist in 1983 after his song had appeared in the movie Bekhabar.
- Since then, his work has featured in around 650 Bollywood movies. He came into limelight in 1990s for composing hit songs in films such as Dil and Aashiqui.
- He has won three Filmfare Awards. First one for song Nazar Ke Saamne, second one in 1993 for the song Teri Umeed Tera Intezaar and third one in 1994 second for the song Ghunghat Ki Aad.
