Sahara: Hostel for Veer Naris
The Sahara Naval Hostel for the ‘Veer Naris’ was inaugurated in New Delhi. The Sahara Naval Hostel for the ‘Veer Naris’ was undertaken by the Indian Navy under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnership with National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC).
Supporting Veer Naris
The hostel aims to addresses a long term need felt towards the rehabilitation of Naval ‘Veer Naris’/Widows and provide them with a safe and secure environment which will help them rebuild their lives. It comprises compact suites equipped with all necessary amenities for a dignified living.
The hostel is one of its kind initiative for the welfare of the Naval Widows/Veernaris aimed at providing support to the lady and their families in the period immediately after the unfortunate demise of their husbands.
