Pramod Sawant designated to be Goa’s new Chief Minister

Bharatiya Janata Party’s Pramod Sawant has been designated as new chief minister of Goa. He has succeeded Manohar Parrikar who died on 17th March, after battling pancreatic cancer. Pramod Sawant is currently the Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly. Vijai Sardesai and Sudin Dhavalikar would be deputy CMs in Goa.
