India-Spain sign MoUs for cooperation in various sectors

India and Spain inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate in various domains which include Railways, Roads, Audio-Visual, and Defence.

MoU signed b/w Indian Railways and RENFE-Operadora and ADIF (Spanish Railways Infrastructure Manager) of Spain on technical cooperation in the field of Railway sector. As per this MoU, both the nations will promote cooperation and information exchange in the areas of High Speed Railway, up gradation of speed of passenger trains on existing lines, improving safety of train operations, modernization of Rolling Stock and other cooperation in railway related technology developments.
Audio visual Co-production Agreement was signed which will provide a legal framework regarding cooperation between the two countries in the audio visual field thereby facilitating the development of the audio visual industry.
This pact will provide opportunities for both the countries to pool their creative, artistic,
MoU was also signed regarding Roads and Road Transport to promote efficient and environmentally sustainable transport systems and to institutionalize a technical and scientific cooperation in the fields of road infrastructure, construction, maintenance and management of roads.
