Curiosity discovers flower-like object
Curiosity rover which was sent to Mars by NASA to explore the planet has spotted an unusual flower-like formation embedded in the Martian rock, along with a snake-like rock formation adorning the planet’s surface.
Where currently the rover is?
The rover is currently going through a shallow depression named “Yellowknife Bay,” after spending its first four months deep inside Gale Crater.
On Mars the days are 2.7% longer than days on Earth at an average of 24 hours and 37 minutes. The days on Mars are called ‘sols’.
