Credit Link Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) Awas Portal launched under PMAY
The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri launched Credit Link Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) Awas Portal on Monday, November 25.
The portal would allow people seeking housing subsidy to track their applications under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)-Urban.
Also at the launch event, Memorandum of Agreement(MoA) between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and 6 state Government for lighthouse projects under the Global Housing Technology Challenge (GHTC-INDIA) were exchanged.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban was launched by the Government of India in June 2015 to address the housing demand of 10 million houses by 2022.
On March 1, 2019, from the Construction Technology India-2019 Expo-cum-conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared ‘April 2019-March 2020’ as the year of ‘Construction-Technology’.
