ANUBHAV Awards 2019
Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh presented ANUBHAV awards, 2019 in New Delhi. This was fourth annual award in the series.
About ANUBHAV awards
They are given by Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare. It seeks to encourage retiree to submit his valuable experience/ suggestions through write-ups.
Genesis: Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare had created Anubhav portal on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015 with vision to preserve rich experience of retired official in digital form. It envisaged that their rich experience should be preserved for future generation to learn and explore knowledge on various aspects of governance, culture & development history of a particular region. As part of this initiative, an award scheme was introduced in 2016 to incentivize and encourage more retiring employees to submit their write-ups. Since then, three annual awards ceremony have been organized.
