AIFF appoints investigation panel
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) formed a ‘one-man
committee’ of retired Supreme Court judge and chairperson of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission, A.K Ganguly to probe and decide the fate of the abandoned 10th round I-League match between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan.
Mohun Bagan decided not to play the second half after one of its players was hit by a missile from the stands in the first half, forcing the abandonment of the match played on December 9, 2012.
