The Mobile Training Team of the Australian Border Force conducted the training course on ‘Vessel Search Technique’ for the personnel of Indian Coast Guard, Customs and Coastal Security Group members of the Tamil Nadu Police.
Indian Coast Guard organised this training course at the capital of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, along with the Border Force of Australia.

A four-day ‘International Conference on Banana’ was recently organised by the National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB), an institution under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), in association with Bioversity International, during 22-25 February, 2020.
ICAR’s National Research Centre for Banana is based at Tiruchirappali, Tamil Nadu. The Conference is organised at Tiruchirappalli on the theme of ‘Innovations in sustainable production and value chain management in banana’.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) recently permitted the Maharatna PSU NTPC Limited to acquire the government’s entire stake in THDC India and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd (NEEPCO).
NTPC will acquire 100 per cent of the issued and paid-up share capital of the NEEPCO and 74.5 per cent in THDC India, the rest of which is held by Uttar Pradesh state government.

The Hackathon aims to convert new ideas into feasible 5-G products and solutions in the country. All students, start-ups, SMEs, academic institutions and registered companies in India and even NRIs can participate in the event.
