$latex = 5\left ( \frac{1}{12}+\frac{1}{15} \right ) = 5\left ( \frac{5+4}{60} \right )&s=1$

Remaining work $latex = 1-\frac{3}{4} = \frac{1}{4}&s=1$
∴ Time taken by A $latex = \frac{1}{4}\times 12 = 3\ days&s=1$
Hence option [A] is correct answer.
