Notes: Akbar appointed Raja Man Singh as the Governor of Bihar Province. He was appointed as Governor in 1587. Man Singh was given the title 'Raja' after the death of Raja Bhagwan Das in 1589. He was also given 5000 Mansabs. Raja Man Singh was the Kachwaha Raja of Amer. He was a trusted general of the Mughal emperor Akbar. Akbar included him among the Navaratnas, or the nine gems of the royal court of Akbar.
