Notes: Kebur Zabagna, also known as Zebenya, was the first division imperial guard of Ethiopia, which was active from 1917 to 1936 and 1941 to 1974, to provide security for the Emperor of Ethiopia and to act as an elite infantry division, headquartered in Addis Ababa. This imperial guard was disbanded after the Derg consolidated their hold on Ethiopia.
