Notes: Sadaqat Ashram was established in 1921. It was esablished by Mahatma Gandhi. The land was donated by Maulana Mazharul Haque. During the independence movement, important meetings between eminent freedom fighters like Brajkishore Prasad, Maulana Mazharul Haque, Dr. Anugrah Narayan Sinha, and Rajendra Prasad took place here. Rajendra Prasad lived here after his retirement. JP Narayan launched his historic movement "Bihar Movement" from the Sadaqat Ashram.
