NCLT Launches e-Inspection and e-Certified Copy Services

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) launched e-Inspection and e-Certified Copy services on 12 August 2026 to provide electronic access to judicial records and certified copies. The services were inaugurated by NCLT President Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal through a video conferencing ceremony.

National Company Law Tribunal

The National Company Law Tribunal is a quasi-judicial body in India that adjudicates matters under the Companies Act, 2013, and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. It functions through benches that hear company law and insolvency-related cases across the country.

Digital Registry Services

The e-Inspection service allows advocates, litigants, and other stakeholders to access judicial records in electronic form. The e-Certified Copy service provides certified copies through a digital process, which reduces dependence on physical filing and manual collection.

Operational and Administrative Measures

The NCLT has linked the new services with its wider digital transformation programme, which includes a revamped website and the e-Courts 2.0 initiative. The tribunal also uses a data-driven mechanism to monitor pendency, review workloads, and constitute Special Benches for better use of court hours.
