Kerala will launch a state-owned over-the-top (OTT) platform, CSpace to offer movies, short films and documentaries.
The state’s Minister for Cultural affairs unveiled the name of the OTT platform as CSpace, which is an initiative of Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC) on behalf of the state government. It is set to be launched on November 1, the state’s formation day.

Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs participated in the 7th BRICS Culture Ministers’ Meeting.
It was hosted by the People’s Republic of China through video conference with participation from all BRICS Member Nations. Discussion was held under the theme “Establishing a Cultural Partnership Featuring Inclusiveness and Mutual Learning among BRICS”. The Ministers adopted the BRICS Action Plan 2022-2026 to strengthen the cultural cooperation.

Andhra Pradesh has joined the Global Network of Advanced Manufacturing Hubs (AMHUBs) of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
On the sidelines of the annual Davos meeting of WEF, the state government and WEF exchanged the platform partnership on “Shaping the Future of Advanced Manufacturing and Value Chains”. Andhra Pradesh is the first state selected of Shaping the Future of Mobility and “Moving India” initiatives.

The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) announced a new initiative to boost flows of digital foreign direct investments globally.
Under the initiative, the DCO and WEF will launch Digital FDI Enabling Projects in countries around the world. DCO, which focuses on digital economy initiatives supporting youth, start-up entrepreneurs and women, has nine member states with a combined GDP of nearly USD 2 trillion.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has launched the first public outreach programme, ‘Lok Milani’, which started in Chandigarh on May 16, 2022. The objective of this program is to provide a single window platform to the people for redressal of their grievances.

World Thyroid Day is observed every year on 25 May. It aims to promote understanding related to thyroid disease, its symptoms and treatment. World Thyroid Day was first observed in the year 2008 by resolution of the European Thyroid Association (ETA).

The Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) has released the draft National Data Governance Framework for mobilizing non-personal data of citizens for use by both public and private entities to improve services.
The draft policy proposes the launch of a non-personal data-based India dataset programme. Addresses methods and regulations to ensure that non-personal and anonymous data from both government and private entities are securely accessible by the research and innovation ecosystem.

The Department of Posts delivered mail using a drone as part of a pilot project in Gujarat’s Kutch district, for the first time. The project covered a distance of 46 km in 25 minutes, from Bhuj taluk to Bhachau taluk of Kutch district by the postal department under the guidance of the Union Ministry of Communications. The pilot project studied the cost of delivery by drones and geographical location between the two centres.

32-year-old Mexican Racing Driver Sergio Perez recently clinched the Monaco Grand Prix title. The ace driver arrived 1.1 seconds clear of his Spanish rival Carlos Sainz Jr.
Series leader and world champion Max Verstappen finished the event third. Another ace driver Charles Leclerc finished fourth. It was Perez’s first win of the season and the third of his career, making him the most successful Mexican F1 driver.

UN-Habitat has identified multi-hazard vulnerabilities, urban sprawl, weak urban mobility and green-blue disconnect as the important issues for Jaipur city.
Jaipur has received an overall sustainability rating of three on the Urban Sustainability Assessment Framework (USAF). Though the city received high sustainability rating, the government has to put in efforts to tackle the expansion of the city.
