The National Health Authority (NHA) under its Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) scheme has announced the launch of a revamped Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) mobile application.
The updated version of the ABHA app has a new User Interface (UI). The application also enables an individual to create an ABHA address, a username that can be linked with the 14 digit ABHA number. In the new application, individuals can access their health records anytime and anywhere.

An ancient forest has been discovered at the bottom of a giant karst sinkhole in Leye County in south China’s Autonomous Region.
The sinkhole can be categorised as a large sinkhole according to its dimensions. Sinkholes are depressions formed in the ground when layers of the Earth’s surface start collapsing. They form in areas of karst terrains , where rocks below the surface of the Earth can be dissolved by groundwater.

After nine years in opposition, the Australian Labor Party, led by Anthony Albanese, is back in power. 74.6% of the votes were cast in the country, with Anthony Albanese’s party winning 75 seats in the 151-member House of Representatives; While the conservative Liberal National Coalition won 57 seats. Anthony Norman Albanese is an Australian politician who is the 31st and current Prime Minister of Australia. He has been the leader of the Australian Labor Party since 2019, and the Member of Parliament for Grendler since 1996.

The National Investigation Agency has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigating the Sunjwan terror attack case in Jammu and Kashmir by the Union Home Ministry. In the attack, terrorists attacked a Central Industrial Security Force bus in which two suicide bombers were killed in the operation. In April 2022, nine officers of Jammu and Kashmir Police and one security personnel along with CISF personnel were martyred in an encounter at Jalalabad in Sunjwan, Jammu.

16-year-old Indian Chess Grandmaster R Pragyanandana has ended the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour Chessable Masters tournament on May 27, 2022, after losing to China’s Ding Liren in the final. The Indian chess player entered the final after defeating Anish Giri in the semi-final match.

Tirupati-based writer K.V. Raghupati has been selected for the International Panorama Golden Award by White Falcon Publishing for his book, The Mountain is Calling, published in 2019. Raghupati, an English professor who retired from the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Tiruvarur, has been writing since the 1980s.

Chhattisgarh state government approved the CFR claims of Gudiyapadar and Nagalsar villages in Kanger Ghati National Park in the state.
With this, Chhattisgarh is the second state after Odisha to have recognised Community Forest Resource (CFR) rights inside a National Park. The rights empower forest dwellers in decision-making and forest governance with access to funds available under various government programs.
