The Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) hub of the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) facilitated the establishment of 84 micro-enterprises in eight districts of Kerala between 2022 and 2026. The Department of Science and Technology (DST) funded the initiative, which aims to diversify livelihoods in fisheries.
