Uttarakhand Launches Devbhoomi Parivar Portal, Unveils Vision 2047
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the Devbhoomi Parivar portal and unveiled the Viksit Uttarakhand Vision 2047 in Dehradun on 2 November 2026.
Portal and family ID
The portal is designed to create an integrated digital database of families and their members in the state. After registering, each family will receive a unique Devbhoomi Parivar ID.
Vision 2047 targets
The Viksit Uttarakhand Vision 2047 sets long-term targets across sectors using about 440 indicators. It aims to raise the state’s economy to approximately ₹28 lakh crore by 2047.
Important Facts for Exams
- Family identifier: A unique identifier is guaranteed to distinguish an object within the set of identifiers used for a specified purpose.
- SDG benchmarking: The SDG India Index, published by NITI Aayog, benchmarks states and Union territories using indicator-based scores across Sustainable Development Goals.
- Digital data safeguards: The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 provides for consent-based processing of digital personal data, alongside specified legitimate uses and statutory exemptions.
- Aadhaar and citizenship: Aadhaar enrolment is available to qualifying residents regardless of citizenship, so possession of an Aadhaar number does not establish Indian citizenship.
