Kisan Sarathi Digital Agro-Advisory Platform

Kisan Sarathi is India’s largest integrated digital agro-advisory platform, launched in July 2021 for farmer advisory services in multiple Indian languages. It is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology and the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, and it is implemented by the Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute and the Digital India Corporation.

Platform Coverage and Reach

As of 25 June 2026, Kisan Sarathi had registered 2.95 crore farmers across 37 States and Union Territories, 768 districts, and 6.63 lakh villages. The platform included 56.16 lakh women beneficiaries among its registered users.

Advisory and Query Services

As of 29 June 2026, the platform had handled 19.21 lakh farmer queries and issued more than 21,900 advisories covering 351 agricultural commodities. It provides weather updates, scheme information, expert consultations, mandi prices, and district-wise market trends.

Institutional Network and Access Channels

Kisan Sarathi connects farmers with more than 730 Krishi Vigyan Kendras, over 100 ICAR institutes, and more than 65 agricultural universities. The platform is supported by 4,767 ICAR scientists and can be accessed through Kisan Call Centres, Common Service Centres, a web portal, WhatsApp, and a mobile application.
