4th Tri-Services Future Warfare Course Concludes in New Delhi

The fourth edition of the Tri-Services Future Warfare Course concluded in New Delhi on 30 August 2026 after a four-week programme that began on 3 August 2026 at the Manekshaw Centre. The course was conducted under the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff and coordinated by the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies.

Tri-Services Military Education

The Tri-Services Future Warfare Course is a professional military education programme for officers of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. It also includes participants from academic institutions, government bodies, and the strategic defence industry.

Future Warfare Domains

The course curriculum covered artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cyber warfare, cognitive warfare, autonomous systems, space operations, and grey-zone warfare. These subjects form part of contemporary military studies in areas linked to technology, information operations, and multi-domain conflict.

Valedictory Session and Awards

Chief of Defence Staff General N.S. Raja Subramani interacted with the participants during the concluding session in New Delhi. Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee, presented completion certificates to the attendees. Retired Lieutenant General SS Mahal, Managing Director of the Defence Research and Innovation Foundation at IIT Ropar, awarded Post Graduate Diplomas in Future Warfare to the graduating officers.
