Maharashtri Prakrit
Maharashtri Prakrit was the official language of the Satavahana dynasty (230 BCE–220 CE), whose capital was Pratishthana (Paithan) in present-day Maharashtra. The dynasty promoted Maharashtri Prakrit as a literary language, fostering regional trade, culture, and early classical literature.
