Madison Square Modi-fied
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was once again at his personal best when he addressed a huge crowd gathered of about 20000 people at Madison Square at US. The PM arrived at the complex only to be greeted with a lot of excitement and hope amid voices of Modi-modi taking the lead. He was able to acknowledge and accept the great responsibility which the Indian people have entrusted him with. Mr. Modi was able to touch all chords which resonated well with all his audience. People had also gathered at the Times Sqaure to hear the PM speech. Such enthusiasm had been quite a contrast to the visits of previous PM Manmohan Singh. For all the Indians who are settled abroad, it was a moment of great pride to see the PM of India take the whole world in his stride.
A major part of his speech was dedicated to his faith that India has the resources and potential to be the next global power. He reiterated his golden mantra of 3 Ds which stand for the three important ingredients for the progress of any nation. The three stand for Democracy, Demogrpahy and demand. He stressed on the possibility of the current century to be known as the Century of Asia or Century of India to be precise.
He also stated the fact that New Delhi has got a stable and grounded administration since last 30 years and hence his government is committed on ethics and good conduct. He expressed his vision of making India clean and green. His appreciation for the success of Mangalyaan by Indian scientists was unparalleled as he highlighted the fact that India has been able to achieve this tremendous success in most cost-effective manner.
The real flavour of his speech came when he announced a package of offers and new policy changes with respect to NRIs. He waived off hitherto important visa processes and formalities associated with NRIs. The speech was electrifying and made every Indian in every corner of the world proud to be one.
