Notes: When soap is mixed in water a colloidal solution is formed. The soap solution has soap micelles which are an aggregate of soap molecules. It is sphericalin shape and helps in dissolving the dirt in water. The soap micelles are large enough to scatter light and that’s why a soap solution appears cloudy.
