Notes: The Adivasi Mahasabha was founded in 1938 by Jaipal Singh Munda in the Chotanagpur region. In 1939, a split led to the formation of the Sanatan Adivasi Mahasabha by Theble Oraon. The organization evolved into the Adivasi Mahasabha, which later demanded a separate Jharkhand state. It was reorganized as the Jharkhand Party on 5 March 1949.
